Now: My Current Life Status

🛫 First Officer on the Airbus A350
Finally, the flying schedule has become a bit quieter. This summer, I was consistently close to hitting my maximum allowable flying hours each month.
👷 Some things I am working on now:
- Improving my FPV drone flying skills! My new 3.6” Manta and tinywhoop Mobula 6 Freestyle are getting good workouts!
- Building a new web product using Django. I haven’t used Django since V1.4 (when timezone and Python 2.7 support were new and exciting), and am amazed at the improvements to productivity over Flask/FastAPI which were my usual go-to frameworks.
- Rewriting some of the code for my Split Flap controller. Now the board shows when it is garbage/recycling day and when music is playing on our Sonos system.
🤌 Things I am currently enjoying:
- 🎧 Listening to the Another Love by Tom Odell, and the album Classic 90s Dance by Alex Christensen and The Berlin Orchestra
- 📺 Watching The Day of the Jackal and What We Do in the Shadows
